Our Wedding!

Words can’t explain how excited I am to be a part of the Helmar DT- to me it’s like being a kid in a candy shop. So without rambling on too much more about me - here's my first creation with full-on Helmar goodness!!

A girlfriend asked me to design a wedding album and this is what I came up with! AGB designed this totally awesome house for me to work some magic!

 The house is built up with layers of chipboard, each layer being adhered to the next with Helmar Acid Free. I started laying bricks using Helmar Acid Free and then applied texture paste to add texture to the bricks.

 Helmar 450 Quick Dry was just perfect for all those fiddly bits and pieces like the frames, flower pot, flower vine and hardware, love the fact that I didn’t have to hold them for ages for the glue to dry!

 To get a grass type effect with loads of dimension I took some Helmar Scrap Dots and paper laces, did a little fussy cutting.

Then a dab of Helmar Scrap Dots on each point and joined a few of them together.

Look what I found in my garden!

I have been gardening OK playing.

I started out with Out There Chippy's Wheelbarrow which I painted and sanded here and there to give that antique look. Grabbed the trusty Helmar Acid Free and glued away!

 I filled the wheelbarrow with tulle and popped in an assortment of
  ManorHouse Creations NEW Summer Collection - Frostedwild rose, Country lane-charm, Fantasy moonlight-purple, Wishes-serenity, Wishes-hope, WV-Kyeesha, WV-Taniesha, MHC leaves, Cutie pies-violet, and Christmas-angelic. (they are just like I grew them myself hehehe), securing them into place with Helmar 450 Quick Dry

 a pearl strand here and there

 some Scrappers Floss which I applied Helmar Fabric Stiffener & Draping Fluid, then curled it around a skewer to get a curling effect and popped that in too

and presto a gorgeous center piece for the table!

 The inspiration that these papers offer is just incredible and my MOJO was pumping.

I started out with Dreamer Papers, paper bags, Helmar acid free glue & 450 Quick Dry, German Scrap, Glimmermist & Muslin,

I added some chippy here and there, journal cards

 a trinket or two

 a word or three

a few more bits and bobs

and ended up with this!! Love Love Love IT !!!!

 I have a love for paper bag mini's, they can be so much, a great gift for someone, or something you can use yourself and fill with all sorts of treasures and special moments, with lots of  spots to journal the list goes on and on............ I have used The Scrap Cake's Spring Awakening Collection by Karola , Manorhouse Creations flowers - Cottage Garden - Bird Song and Rose leaves, lots of Helmar Acid Free & 450 quick Dry, OTC Chippy Words, German Scrap Laces, Ornate Garlands & Filigree Flowers, Muslin, Hat Pin, pearls and ribbon. I love the soft blue vintage feel to it!
